Peter Burton is 59 years old, has three sons and lives at his own teambuilding
venue in Gloucestershire.
He has been an Associate of Pinnacle Challenge for 7 years.
Peter has had a long career in sales and marketing (33 years), event management, team building, mental/physical challenge development and event hosting/facilitating (16 years).
He likes to work in a variety of roles, experiencing different aspects
of working practice.
Always on the go, always developing a new idea, Peter continues to explore
new ways
of team building, conveying understanding with an infectious enthusiasm.
With a healthy dislike of 'corporate miracle workers' and the latest HR
fad, Peter's approaches
to team building are simple, practical, realistic and down to earth and
they're always memorable,
enjoyable and accessible for the participants.
In his own words; "Pinnacle Challenge is not a company dealing
in pure team building theory.
We work with real life scenarios. Our people work in the real world. I
still work in Sales
and Marketing and still work physically on team building events, including
everything from
people organisation to erecting and dismantling kit in the rain.
We all have our heads below the clouds and our feet on the ground. In
the past we have
delivered team building programmes to senior management and to motorway
white lining operatives - the message was identical, just delivered on
different paper"
