4SIGHT - West Sussex Association for the Blind
We started talking to 4SIGHT in Feb 2006 and we ran their first successful
Charity abseil from Worthing Hospital on the 8th April 2006. Although
this is a quick turnaround, from conception to event day, we can cater for it
easily, as everything is specifically set up for it here at Pinnacle Challenge.
Worthing Hospital Provided a great venue for the Abseil and with some careful
ropework we rigged up 3 abseil lines down the 70’ building. During the event we
Abseiled over 120 people (Plus Spiderman, a Lion and several girls with
flowers in their hair). However all our credit goes out to the visually impaired
people who showed outstanding courage to take part, our staff will not
forget some of you.
4SIGHT have confirmed a profit in excess of £13,000.00 for this event.
