On Sat 24^th March 2007 Pinnacle Challenge ran an abseil for Solihull District

Scout Council. 70feet down the inside of the John Lewis car park in the

Touchwood Centre, Solihull. We are awaiting confirmation from Guinness

World Records but we should have set 2 new world records on the day. One

for the highest indoor charity abseil and the other for the most number of people

to abseil indoors in a day. The day was a huge success and the 83 abseilers

should have helped to raise a total of £8000.00 to help send Scouts from

around the world to the World Scout Jamboree this summer. The event was

covered by ITV News, as well as the Birmingham Mail and several other local papers.
