Simon Ager - Director and Chief Instructor

Simon has many years experience in the outdoor industry and will be your first point of contact here at Pinnacle Challenge. Throughout his time in the industry he has developed technical outdoor skills alongside teambuilding, management training and facilitation. Simon holds SPA and IRATA level 1 qualifications and also has vast experience on high rope courses. In his spare time he is a keen ice climber and mountaineer, eager to explore the greater ranges, but will often be found climbing on the rock outcrops around Great Britain. He also enjoys kayaking, kiting and mountain biking when time permits. Simon has brought a wealth of expertise to the build project at The Pinnacle Climbing Centre in Northampton, and wants to thank all his valiant workers who are helping to realise a dream and get Northampton on the climbing map
Matt Heritage - Events Co-ordinator and Instructor

Matt Joined the Pinnacle Challenge team full time in 2007. He has many years experience in the outdoors industry. He has a keen interest in climbing and mountaineering as well as playing football several times a week. His attention to detail helps us to ensure we provide the best possible level of service for all events.
Andy Nicholson - Instructor

Andy has been climbing on and off since the late 70s with some noteable ascents to his name. Until 2007 Andy was a PE teacher with boundless energy and enthusiasm - qualities Andy brought with him when he joined the Pinnacle Challenge crew for some casual work. He has ended up on nearly every recent event. Andy's aim is to climb f8a by the time he is 50... FAIR PLAY! He holds SPA and is the most competitive dragon boat helm on the team.
Penny Ager - Accounts and Admin

Penny is our lovely administrator and odd one out, as she likes to keep her feet firmly on the ground! Her passions are racquet sports and Nordic Walking. She will often be your first point of contact when you phone or email to enquire about accounts or other office-based matters!
Kate Casey-Green - Instructor

Kate is an SPA holder who can regularly be found running our climbing courses at The Pinnacle Climbing Centre. She is enthusiastic and confident, especially when it comes to ropework and technique. In any spare time Kate is usually at The Centre, making good use of the awesome facilities.
Alex Fry - Senior Instructor and Wall Manager

Alex lives and breathes climbing! He is an exceptional climber with expert skills and it is amazing to watch him scaling the walls with a grace and elegance that we all aspire to achieve. He is a highly experienced route setter for the Pinnacle Climbing Centre, and has set the majority of our brand new climbing routes and boulder problems, and he will continually be changing and adding to these to provide challenges for everyone!
Dave (Titch) Tomlin - Instructor

Over the past 12 months Dave has gained the RYA senior instructor qualification, and will be aiming to gain his advanced powerboat certificate over the winter, he continues to climb when possible. Dave has just brought an RS600 to replace the International Moth which he spent a lot of time swimming around. He has done some different courses this year instructing all sorts of things from climbing to walking, Draggon boating to Power boating. Dave says "all i wonder is when i get time to go to work".
Tom Delaney - Senior Instructor and Student Liason

Tom is a senior instructor at the Pinnacle Climbing Centre and is the student liaison manager. After a short career in bodybuilding Tom has seen the light and is now addicted to climbing. He is CWA qualified and has a lot of experience of working with young people with disabilities.
Wilf Mulliner - Instructor

Wilf is an instructor at Pinnacle and is SPA qualified. Teaching climbing gets him away from “real work” and in his own words... 'He’s Ace'... And modest.
Harry Turner - Instructor and Events Coordinator

Harry is a dedicated climbing and sailing instructor (though not both at the same time). Harry is currently in charge of running and organising events through the Pinnacle Climbing Centre. If you've got an event you think Pinnacle Challenge could help you organise, get in touch with Harry!
Cindy Masters - Instructor

Cindy is an instructor at the Pinnacle and is CWA qualified. Cindy likes jellybeans, but doesn’t like to eat them, which we think says a lot.
Tom Hume - Instructor

Tom is an instructor at the the pinnacle and is easy to spot as at six foot five he is by far the tallest member of staff. He is a keen trad climber and walker and spends most of his time off out in the hills. He is SPA and ML qualified.
